History of Sunrise Rehab
Sunrise Rehabilitation Centre was founded in 2013 by Kavita Chumroo and Kevin Ramdoo. With a shared vision of providing exceptional care for individuals with complex mental health needs, Kavita and Kevin first opened Aahana House as a residential care facility dedicated to supporting those with mental health challenges.
Kavita Chumroo
Kavita Chumroo has been working in the healthcare field since the 1990s. She started out as a nurse and soon moved into the mental health and social care field. Opening her first mental health care home in 2009, she worked as a Registered Manager for ten years before becoming the director full-time. Under her experienced watch, the organisation was born and since has expanded to help hundreds of people over the last few years.
Kevin Ramdoo
Kevin Ramdoo worked in care homes for many years and since has partnered with Kavita Chumroo as Director of Sunrise Rehabilitation Centre and Trading Associates Ltd.
